Midway between Bridgetown and Oistins on a 1/2 mile sandy beach, the Divi Southwinds vacations resort was created when two distinctly different complexes were combined. The present Divi Southwinds vacations resort consists of buildings scattered over 49 acres of sandy flatlands. The showpiece is the newer (inland) complex, housing one- and two-bedroom suites with full kitchens -- perfect for small families. These units look like a connected series of town houses, with wooden balconies and views of a large L-shaped pool. From here, you need only cross through two groves of palm trees and a narrow lane to reach the beach. The more modestly furnished older units lie directly on the beachfront, ringed with palm trees, near an oval pool. Each unit contains a full-size bathroom with tub and shower. |
